Welcome to the Mesa Grande Band of Mission Indians, a federally recognized native nation in Southern California. The Mesa Grande Band of Diegueño Mission Indians Tribal citizens are direct descendants of the original aboriginal peoples who occupied northern San Diego county since time immemorial. The daily affairs of the Tribe are administered by an elected Business Committee comprised of five Tribal citizens serving five-year terms.
